Kirk chosen for task force
News Brief
Members of the Great Lakes Task Force elected U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk,
R-10th, of Highland Park as the new co-chair of their organization.
"I will focus my efforts on stopping the pollution that
causes beach closings and reducing the mercury poisoning of our
lakes," Kirk said.
The Great Lakes Task Force is a bipartisan organization that
works to enhance the environmental health of the Great Lakes.
