HMI's eNvision™ Suite of software products are designed to keep healthcare communities connected through the use of cutting edge technology such as smart cards and web –based solutions. The design is intended to benefit the hospital, clinics, physician offices, as well as enhancing the patient experience while in the healthcare facility. Patients are starting to take a much greater interest in their own healthcare and the process. HealthMeans is dedicated to providing patients the ultimate experience with their own Personal Health Record, and immediate access to their current Medical Record information from a secure on-line service. Additionally, patients have grown accustomed to spending a tremendous amount of time in healthcare facilities waiting to fill out the same information time and time again. With HMI’s Web Portal, Kiosk Check-In and Smart Card solutions, the patient process is expedited and the work flow of the facility is streamlined in order to accommodate the patient needs.

eNvision Kiosk Smart Check-In

The Automated Patient Check-In software is associated with a self-service device such as a Kiosk or tablet PC. This solution can be an enhancement to the base registration system or can be implemented on a stand-alone basis. Smart Check-in is sold in conjunction with a Kiosk that can be initiated by either a smart card, driver’s license or manually. Demographic information as well as a check-in questionnaire customized by the facility, is captured, reviewed and edited at the Kiosk by the patient and then transported to the registration application where the registration process is completed. Once a patient completes their check-in at the Kiosk, the queuing system is updated to notify registration of the patient’s arrival. The standard Smart Check-in application includes specific reporting capabilities.

eNvision Patient Web-Portal

HMI’s web portal solution allows for the remote access by a patient to their demographic, insurance and health summary data base in advance of a visit to a healthcare facility and can be used to capture relevant patient information for registration and admission purposes. This data can then be captured on a smart card before the patient arrives to the facility. This feature can be utilized to meet a number of facility needs but should be focused on building the patient data base for the purpose of registration and smart card creation. Patients are instructed to log on to the facility web site which is automatically linked to the HealthMeans portal.
